The first iteration of Touching Wires took the form of a musical tablecloth for human performance. It debuted on 29 May, 2024 at Andromeda is Coming and Artificially Intelligent Friends (and human friends) — a 60-minute performance of new music for new AI musical instruments featuring Alec Hunter, Charles Martin, Yichen Wang and Sandy Ma.
